Can you present your company in a few words?
Our company brings together forest owners in the Maine-Anjou-Touraine region. We support them in their actions of exploitation and marketing of their forestry products. Our credo is performance through the transparency of direct sales. BOISLOCO in the Pays de la Loire region is today 33 associated foresters in 3 departments (49/72/53), 3 jobs created internally; 7 full-time equivalent jobs with our ETF subcontractors and transporters, 20 partner employees in the associates’ properties, 35,000m3/year of commercialised Pine, Douglas, and Oak timber and 25 industrial sawmill customers supplied within an average radius of 250km.
What is the Carrefour International du Bois for you?
For us it is “the exhibition”. We can find all the sectors of activity in our industry, its major stakeholders, our customers, and our partners. It is also an opening to innovations.
What are your expectations for this new edition?
This will be a first for us as an exhibitor. Through this participation we will work on the proximity with our transformer’s customers. We are looking for visibility and new contacts for the development of our activities.
