Afac-Agrofesteries is an association acting in favor of hedges in France through global tree and hedge development policies and the development of dedicated tools. AFAC-Agroforesteries has therefore developed the Label Haie (Hedge Label) in order to promote sustainable management practices for hedgerows AND responsible distribution of the wood produced from them. The label is based on precise indicators verified in the field. It then allows local traceability, sustainable exploitation of agroforestry wood but also the acquisition of good technical gestures and environmentally friendly practices. Labeled wood managers and distributors guarantee an ethical and ecological supply chain. The deployment of the Label Haie in the territories is based on a network of regional referents and the regional AFACs. AFAC Pays de la Loire will be present on the stand.
