Baskegur is the representative professional association of the Basque timber forestry sector, being the voluntary meeting body and advisory center of our sector and its associated industries. Baskegur incorporates the entire value chain from forest property, forestry service companies, auctioneers, first transformation companies (saws and packaging), pulp and paper industry, second transformation companies (furniture, structure, carpentry, etc.) and closing the chain, also to bioenergy companies. We offer collaboration and advisory services, consultations and guidance on matters such as improving forest management and the Basque timber industry. We promote joint work between companies in the sector seeking to improve their competitiveness and their presence in international markets. We work together with other public and private agents in the development of the Circular Forest Bioeconomy in the Basque Country, taking part and leading innovation and research projects.
