Backed by 30 years of experience, LBSA is currently a leader in the processing and sawing of Oak in France, with 55,000m3 of logs sawn each year. The sawmill is situated at Viriat, 70 km north of Lyon. Our Oak logs are sourced from forests in the northeastern quarter of France, allowing us to be certified with the label BOIS DE FRANCE. We are specialist in square-edged boards, which represent 80% of our production. We also produce : beams (CE certification), boules, waney-edged boards, sleepers. With 2 000 m3 of drying capacity and 11 000 m3 of permanent stock, we can study your different demands in Oak. Our PEFC certification provides customers with assurance in terms of the source of our timber as well as our commitment towards the sustainable management of forests.
