LDCwood is the Belgian producer of Thermo-D ThermoWood®. ThermoWood® from LDCwood is resistant to moisture and is therefore ideally suited for façade cladding and decking. The 100% natural preservation technique is based on the Finnish model where heat, water, and steam are key. The thermal modifications increase the durability of the wood and improve its quality. We thermally modify Ayous, Fraké, Ash, Poplar, Spruce and Pine. In collaboration with Lemahieu Group we can treat the ThermoWood® with the fire-retardant, Burnblock®. As a member of the International ThermoWood® Association, we modify timber using the Finnish model and it allows us to sell our products with the ThermoWood® label. All of LDCwood’s products are FSC®- (licence C001899), PEFC- (PEFC/07-31-24), or OLB-certified.
