The TARTIERE GROUP specialises in the primary processing of softwood for packaging, specifically in sawing boards for pallets. In 2014, Stéphane TARTIERE bought the family company, which was founded in the 1950s. The Group now comprises 3 sawmills and a forestry company: – TARTIERE ET FILS, Bourganeuf (Creuse) – SYNERGIE (partnership with the PGS group), Saint-Amand-Montrond (Cher) – STEF (Société Trans-Européenne Forestière), Ussel (Corrèze) – FORESTIERE DES COMBRAILLES, Villossanges (Puy-de-Dôme) Our company’s strength lies in its ability to adapt to customer demand while maintaining a high level of sawing quality. We are PEFC and FSC certified and produce all ranges of planks (pallets) as well as chamfered products and cutting of dice. We offer ISPM15 drying and treatment services to pallet manufacturers and repairers. Because we care about the environment, we offset our consumption by playing an active role in financing the replanting of trees through payments to forestry funds.
