The Wood Trades Union defends and represents artisans and companies affiliated with the French Building Federation and the wood-construction sector. In this capacity, and through the representative bodies in which we participate, we work to promote and facilitate the use of wood materials in construction and renovation. We engage with relevant authorities to define policies in the areas of technical standards (standardization), training, and prevention. We participate in the design, implementation, and monitoring of Research & Development projects in close partnership with IRABOIS, our tax entity. We provide regulatory and technical monitoring to make available the necessary information and resources for the development of activities in the field. We also provide support to members for any technical issues arising from disputes on construction sites.
