The Vudlande Sawmill currently owns two softwood sawmills, two planing mills, a pellet manufacturing facility along with a forestry operation chemical impregnation plant. The larger of the two mills was completely replaced in 2009 and updated again throughout 2022 and 2023. The mill utilizes an array of ultra modern sawmilling equipment from Sweden and the USA. In 2018 Vudlande commissioned a high speed planning mill that utilizes X-RAY, laser and color vision scanning quality control technology with an integrated mechanical strength grading unit. A second such planing mill will be commissioned in winter of 2025. A premium pellet plant with 3 000 tons per month capacity was commissioned in 2024. Vudlande produces a full range of kiln dried softwood timber products including CLS, C16/C24 strength graded carcassing, machined decking, machine graded roof truss material, machine graded roofing battens, exterior cladding, fence posts and other garden and fencing related products.
