What is France Bois ForĂªt and what is its role within the Forest-wood sector?
The National Interprofessional association of the Forest-Wood sector in France was created on December 8, 2004, under the aegis of the Ministry of Agriculture in charge of Forestry. Since then, France Bois ForĂªt co-finances, alongside the trade of the forest-wood sector via the CVO Mandatory Interprofessional Contribution, collective actions to promote, communicate and enhance the French forest, in particular through the various uses of the wood material. France Bois ForĂªt reflects the sector, which sustainably manages its forests, its raw material, while meeting the challenges of today and tomorrow.
What is it CODIFAB?
The mission of CODIFAB, the Professional Committee for the Development of the French Furniture and Wood Industries, is to conduct and finance collective actions that contributing companies would not have the capacity to carry out individually. The furniture and wood industries include companies that produce goods through the processing and use of materials, i.e. 4200 SMEs and more than 15,000 craftsmen, are represented within CODIFAB by representative professional organisations. Actions that aim to support, strengthen, and develop furniture and wood companies according to the strategic axes defined every 4 years by the performance contract signed with the government.

Created in 2001, the Wood Surfer magazine treats the use of the wood material in construction and design. Dedicated to professionals (architects, carpenters, carpenters, wood builders, design offices, specifiers …), this bimonthly magazine presents tendencies of the forest-wood sector, construction sites, portraits of companies and architects, wood solutions for construction … Within its pages, Wood Surfer allows professionals from different fields to present innovations in the sector, changes in regulations or the state of the wood construction market. The magazine Wood Surfer is a partner of all the main events of the forest-wood sector and is published Éditions des Halles.
